Rolling Huts

Olson Kundig (2007)
Located in Washington State near the Canadian border, about 3 and a half hour’s drive from Seattle or 4 hour’s drive from Vancouver this block of land was zoned to allow for RV (Recreational Vehicle) camping. Since that means ‘a camping room on wheels’ that’s exactly what the architects have designed for this natural site near a river and surrounded by forests and mountains. With smart, robust environmentally sensitive design Tom Kundig and his team have created some beautiful huts for people looking for a more comfortable form of camping for all seasons.
