Luxury Swedish fashion brand Acne Studios recently opened its second store in New York’s West Village. Designed by Sophie Hicks Architects from London, the crisply detailed design is a composition of concrete floors, stainless steel wall panels and frosted white translucent glass, combining to create a very slick new feel for Acne. Inserted into the spaces are custom-designed furniture pieces by Max Lamb. Located on the ground floor of a brick apartment block, Acne chairman Mikael Schiller explained that “the result is our interpretation of a local neighborhood shop in the Acne Studios universe.”
